The international wine industry has been adversely impacted by global warming, COVID-19, and supply chain disruption. France’s tradition of wine superiority and continuity is under siege due to unseasonal rains and warm temperatures, while Great Britain is becoming famous for its sparkling wines. California and Australia recently experienced significant fire losses and drought, while the Pacific Northwest, British Columbia, and Tasmania are each, for the most part, flourishing. As the saying goes, the only constant is change!
